Ventilation openings often cause unwanted light influences from outside. For good performances in your poultry house, it is important that the light intensity and the number of daylight hours can be accurately controlled. That is why light traps are often used in poultry houses, for wall inlets, ventilation chimneys and end wall fans. With light traps, the balance between efficient airflow and the reduction of the number of lux is important. For this reason, we have designed the LTR light trap with maximum light reduction and low air resistance. We have the LTR light trap available in four models:
LTR-VERZ with galvanized housing
The LTR-VERZ is a light trap with a galvanized housing. This light trap can be supplied in height and width in the dimensions you need (200-2000 mm) and has a default depth of 155 mm. Due to the wavy slats, the light trap provides excellent light reduction in combination with low air resistance. The light traps are supplied in a completely assembled way and can be easily mounted on the wall. This light trap is often used for end wall fans and wall inlets.
LTR with plastic housing
If an obstacle prevents the mounting of the LTR-VERZ, the LTR with a plastic housing can be used. The plastic housing can be made deeper (150-500 mm) than the light trap, in order to bridging e.g. a protruding fan hood. As a result, the LTR with plastic housing offers possibilities with protruding parts. Just like the LTR-VERZ, the LTR with a plastic housing can be supplied in height and width in the dimensions you require (200-2000 mm). The light traps can be delivered as completely assembled or in parts and can be easily mounted on the wall.
LTR-K for ventilation chimneys
The LTR-K is a round light trap that can be attached to the house side of a ventilation chimney. This light trap is available for ventilation chimneys with a diameter of 645, 730, 820 and 920 mm. Due to the material used, the LTR-K is a very robust light trap that ensures maximum light reduction.
LTR built-in
The LTR built-in is suitable for placing in an existing frame. Consider, for example, wall inlets in a thick wall. The LTR built-in can be supplied in height and width in the dimensions you require and has a default depth of 155 mm.
