Yes certainly. The insulation value is an important aspect of a climate solution. Especially in extremely cold or warm areas. That is why most Scan-Air products are fitted with profiles with closed air chambers. This creates a wall of stagnant air, which ensures a high insulation value. Optionally, for products produced from these profiles, you can choose to have the air chambers filled with insulating foam. This ensures you of an optimally insulated climate solution!

A good climate in your house is the basis for healthy animals and optimal performance. The vast majority of climate problems in houses are caused by the inlet of the air. Fresh air well distributed, and getting to your animals at the right speed, is essential here. In this way you prevent drafts and there is still sufficient air exchange. Scan-Air wall inlets are available in several models. Two of those models are the GKK and GDK/RDK.

• The GKK (curved flap with a double turning point) is a wall inlet, consisting of a curved flap with a center hinge. Due to the center hinge, an extra airflow is created at the bottom of the inlet after the minimum ventilation phase. This also directs air in the direction of the animals, which is especially desirable for poultry and gestating sows.
• The GDK (curved flap with a single turning point) or the RDK (straight flap with a single turning point) is a wall inlet, consisting of a flap with a bottom hinge. Due to the bottom hinge, there is always one airflow at every position of the flap. As a result, there is no airflow directly towards the animals, which is especially desirable for farrowing sows, fattening pigs, goats and lambs.
